Leila

When I was younger one of my most popular poems was “Leila.” A short spoken word poem which tells the story of the passing of our family dog Leila, the feelings of grief, loss, and even hope.
In 2018 the artist Camrynn Shroder decided to bring my poem to life with an amazing comic.
